Chora Nova continues its 11th season with rehearsals for the winter quarter beginning January 10. Repertoire for the quarter is Dvorak Mass in D Major and Rheinberger Stabat Mater in C Minor, Op. 16. Auditions will be held on Saturday May 14 & Sunday June 5 for the 2016-2017 seasons. YWC meets on Wednesday night from 6:30-9pm and Sundays from 3-6 pm and is focused on creating an exciting and interactive community. Here young women learn more challenging and advanced vocal techniques, sight-reading, and performance skills through the Kodály teaching method.

The St Monica Choir rehearses every Thursday and sings for a 10:30am Mass every other Sunday. This chamber choir specializes in polyphony. Other styles, particularly 20th and 21st C works are also performed. St Monica Church is an unknown gem in the Richmond District of San Francisco. The successful candidate will be a strong choral singer, good reader and a colleague who works well with both professionals and amateurs. The St Monica Choir is directed by Music Director Matthew Walsh.
