15-minute audition consists of vocalizing, sight reading, and a prepared piece of applicant's choice.

Ability to sing with straight tone and small number of voices on a part are required.

The Pacific Masterworks Chorus is devoted to high quality choral performance, embracing a wide variety of repertoire ranging from works of the a cappella tradition through accompanied compositions including choral masterworks. We seek to perform distinctive choral music that will have value to both our performers and to our audiences.

Voices of Musica Sacra has auditions for all voice parts from August to June, on Mondays, in conjunction with rehearsals from 7:00-9:30 pm

Tenors and basses are especially needed!

The 21 year old San Francisco Choral Society, under the artistic direction of Robert Geary, will be holding auditions on Tuesday, August 24th at 7pm at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 201 Eucalyptus, in San Francisco.

Those planning on auditioning will be measured on their vocal blending abilities, tone, range, pitch, sight reading, singing with others and some solo singing.

The Choral Society will begin first rehearsals for its Fall Concert on Tuesday, August 31 at 7pm, also at the Lakeside Church.
