Sing the Dvořák Mass in D Major and Te Deum

The San Francisco City Chorus welcomes singers for all vocal parts. Come share your voice with a warm, supportive and multi-generational community dedicated to music education and sharing the beauty of classical choral music.

How to join: Come to an open audition, Wednesdays January 7, 14, and 21 at Lakeside Presbyterian Church in San Francisco at 7 pm. Auditions are held after our usually rehearsals.

The San Francisco Lyric Chorus, under the direction of Music Director, Robert Gurney, invites singers to join us in Spring 2015 for the beginning of our 20th Anniversary Year. We have openings in all parts.

Tenors and Basses especially are needed.

Join San Francisco Boys Chorus — Auditions Announcement Sept 12, 2015

Why San Francisco Boys Chorus?
Vocal Training—Music Appreciation—Self-Confidence—Teamwork—Self-Discipline—Fun! Performances with the San Francisco Opera and Symphony, domestic and international tours, television appearances and CD recordings. Financial assistance available.

Who Should Sign Up?
Boys ages 5 to 12 with unchanged voices from all cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. Boys up to 8 do not need previous music experience. Boys older than 8 should be able to read basic music and have some musical experience (instrument or singing).

Looking for Girls Who Love To Sing (grades 5-10)

Come sing with us in the Allegro Chorus! It offers a large variety of fun and worthwhile opportunities like singing in the chorus of an opera and at places like the California Academy of Sciences. Not only will you have a great time with other skillful and welcoming girls but also learn to sing in different languages, music style, and harmony. Through this after school activity you can make life-long friends while learning how to read and sing all different kinds of music and touch audiences. It meets twice a week: Wednesday and Sunday afternoons 4-6 pm.

Looking for Girls Who Love To Sing (grades 2-7)

Come sing with us in the Prelude Chorus. It offers a great variety of fun and worthwhile opportunities like learning to sing in different languages, music styles, and in harmony. Through this after school activity you can make life-long friends while learning how to read and sing all different kinds of music and touch audiences. It meets twice a week on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons 4-5:30 pm. Auditions will be looking for a nice, natural singing voice that has good pitch and can carry a tune. We are also looking for girls who love to sing and perform.
