Akiko Kojima

Akiko has been combining her teaching and performing career for more than 10 years.

Since obtaining her Masters of Music and Professional Studies Diploma from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Akiko has won positions with the Marin Symphony, California Symphony, Monterey Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, and Santa Cruz Symphony.

Kyle Stegall

Kyle is a dedicated teacher of singing and maintains a private studio year-round. Kyle's certified music degrees come from three of the most highly-respected music schools in the country (University of Missouri, University of Michigan, Yale University). His teaching is based on a fundamental approach to efficient singing; appropriate and active connectivity to one's breath support, conscious body alignment and purposeful tension monitoring.

Kevin Robinson

Kevin Robinson provides high quality instruction and personalizes his teaching for every student. Hailing from Philadelphia area, he grew up in a family of professional musicians. His diverse musical life has brought him to a number of stages: solo recitals, jazz big band, and electro-rock to name a few. Kevin completed his bachelor’s degree at GWU, studying with Berta Rojas. He completed his graduate studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with Marc Teicholz.

Dr. Lee Strawn

Born in Ohio, I began singing in High School. I began with musical-theatre as well as concert work. I have also had great success in Opera. As a performer I can move easily between the classical and musical-theatre worlds.

I come from a long line of teachers - teaching singing has always been a passion of mine. I am fascinated with helping singers reach their full potential and have made that my life's work.

Molly Mahoney

Molly Mahoney's diverse experience in performing has cultivated a broad base of knowledge, from which she effectively teaches many types of students. Teaching voice is very personal and needs to be adapted as such, so Molly teaches students what they want to learn, while promoting a free, flexible, healthy vocal technique to help them sing most any style of music.

MARK NARINS

Tenor MARK NARINS, can currently be heard as Luigi in Verismo opera's Il Tabarro (Puccini). Also with Verismo Opera he has sung Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) Turridu (Cavalleria Rusticana), Don Jose (Carmen), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), Riccardo (Ballo in Maschera), as Cassio (Otello) and Froh (Das Rheingold). Mr. Narins has also sung Canio with Robert Ashens, Prince Golitsin (Khovanschina) with Kent Nagano and Azael in Debussy's L'Enfant Prodigue with Geoffrey Gallegos. Mr. Narins is also a very active composer.

Chad Goodman

Chad Goodman maintains an active career as a trumpeter, conductor, and music educator. He has performed with esteemed music groups that include the Monterey Symphony, Symphony Napa Valley, Berkeley Symphony, the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, and the Eastman Wind Ensemble. Chad holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music degree from San Francisco State University. While at Eastman, he was a recipient of the prestigious Howard Hanson Scholarship and, upon graduation, was awarded the Sidney Mear Trumpet Prize.

Elena Yakoubovsky

Elena Yakoubovsky, a lyric-spinto soprano, made her operatic debut in 2005 as Tatiana in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. She has recently appeared as Lisa in Tchaikovsky's The Queen of Spades at West Bay Opera, Annina in La Traviatta with Capitol Opera, as Mimi in La Boheme and as Micaela in Carmen with Danville Lyric Opera. She was the featured soprano soloist in Mozart's Coronation Mass in C Major at St. Timothy's Concert Series in Danville, for whom she returned in a solo recital last November.

Molly Rosen

Molly is a proud member of NATS ( National Association of Teachers of Singing), and Bay Area NATS. Recent experience includes touring the Midwest with the Lira Ensemble and performing in their Christmas show. Recent training includes workshops at Roosevelt University (Dalcroze Eurythmics) and the DePaul University School of Music (Vocal Health Seminar with author of “The Voice Book”, Kate Devore and master teachers David Edelfelt and holistic voice teacher Louise Cloutier). NATS workshops include speaking voice for singers and commercial vocal styles with Lisa Popeil.
