Melinda Martinez Becker

I have over 15 years of experience as a professional singer and voice teacher. I'm classically trained, and teach everything from opera, to R&B, to musical theater and pop! I have my Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. My students have been admitted to prestigious college vocal programs and have also been cast in leading roles on Bay Area stages. Besides teaching online, I'm also a music professor and professional singer! I really enjoy teaching people to sing and I like to make the process fun for my students!

musicians. Continuing with her musical education she took additional lessons and worked with other oboists finding styles and
methods she found fit her tastes but also styles of others she could adapt for specific types of performance. One of her most

Karen Clark Voice & Feldenkrais Studio

My lessons combine vocal technique with sensory awareness that allows each individual to discover the full range of their voice in a variety of styles. A lesson includes vocal warm ups and a Feldenkrais Functional Integration lesson. This gentle hands-on approach guides the student in movements to make more conscious the sensations involved in singing. The idea is to circumvent the intellect so that the clarity of breath support and the responsiveness of the speech articulators increase and singing becomes more consistent.
