Chora Nova

Chora Nova, beginning its 12th season in 2017, is a Berkeley-based, auditioned 60-voice chorus directed by Artistic Director Paul Flight. Reviewers have praised the chorus with such terms as "as sheerly beautiful as sound gets." Rehearsals are Tuesday nights in north Berkeley . Our eclectic repertoire ranges from the Baroque to the twentieth century. We are accompanied by either piano or orchestra, depending on the repertoire. Chabot Wind Symphony

Recognized as one of the premier ensembles of its kind, the Chabot Wind Symphony is comprised of the most outstanding musicians in the greater Bay Area. The Wind Symphony has been highly praised for "…musical and inspiring performances," and "truly fine music making." Known for adventurous programming, the group pursues a commitment to performing new and historically significant music for wind band. The Chabot Wind Symphony pursues the highest professional standards and is determined to bring its audiences the finest artistic repertoire from all musical periods, cultures, and styles.

Now beginning its 26th season, Voci is an intimate, high-level treble ensemble of 24+ singers that performs adventurous music from a wide range of historical periods. Known as one of the finest choral groups in the Bay Area, Voci champions and commissions works by and for women.
