Bass Auditions for Resound Ensemble

Do you sing bass and wish to sing with a talented and dynamic vocal ensemble?
Are you interested in a wide range of classical, contemporary, popular, and a cappella music?

We recruit experienced singers from a variety of backgrounds, so whether you're a recent graduate who wants to continue singing or have many years of singing under your belt, we're interested in you!

Pocket Opera Auditions for 2019 Season Sep 14 and 15

Pocket Opera announces auditions for its 2019 season. Operas this season include: Elixir of Love (Donizetti), Two Widows (Smetana), La Rondine (Puccini), The Tales of Hoffmann (Offenbach), Barber of Seville (Rossini). Auditions will be held September 14 and 15 (7-10pm). Prepare 2-3 arias--at least one aria MUST be in English. Pocket Opera performs its own English translations, and arias will be made available in our translation if you wish to present them.

Tenor section leader

Position is from September through June, annually
Thursday choir rehearsals from 6:30 until 8:30 pm
Sunday morning rehearsal at 9:00 am followed by the 10:00 am Service Additional services on Christmas Eve & Day, Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week
Pay is $65 per call
Candidate must have strong sight-reading abilities
Also capable of singing solo and small ensemble repertoire
Music degree or equivalent required
Position starts Sunday September 2nd
Auditions begin August 27th, 2018

Paid Tenor Section Leader/Soloist position, available immediately

Calvary Presbyterian Church, San Francisco, California is seeking a new Tenor Section Leader/Soloist for the 50-voice Chancel Choir starting ASAP. The choir sings a broadly diverse range of music, encompassing the great sacred, classical liturgical repertoire along with jazz, gospel, folk, contemporary and secular arrangements. Calvary is looking for an experienced, adult professional singer who can provide positive leadership for our volunteer choir members as well as dynamic, diverse, engaging solo and ensemble singing. The position is for a full year, including summer.
