The Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra & Chorus is calling all singers to join the chorus this fall as we prepare for an exciting season including our annual Handel's Sing It Yourself Messiah in December and the opportunity to perform Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Switzerland next June. Performances are held at the historic Herbst Theatre in San Francisco and at the City Clock Tower in Benicia.

Come join the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra & Chorus this Season! Under the direction of our Maestro, Urs Leonhardt Steiner, the GGSOC is planning an exciting season including Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 in November, our annual Sing it Yourself Messiah in December, a special program of Music from the Holocaust in March, and a season finale featuring Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in June including the opportunity to perform B-9 in Switzerland.

One Found Sound (OFS) announces an open-call audition for its list of substitute musicians. All instruments will be considered. We welcome candidates from any race, ethnicity, disability, age, or gender identity to apply.

Auditions will take place on Sunday, September 19, 2021 in San Francisco, CA. Candidates may request to audition virtually via Zoom.

We are currently looking for a new Principal Cellist to lead the section and make the commitment of Wednesday evening rehearsals and five concert programs on Saturday evenings (11/10; 12/15; 3/2/19; 4/20 and 6/8 all at 7:30 p.m. Please see our website kensingtonsymphonyorchestra.org for more details.

Candidates should have significant orchestral experience and above average musicianship and technique.

Mill Valley Philharmonic is in need of violists to fill out our section of volunteer musicians for the 2017-18 season.
Participation in our award-winning community orchestra is by audition.

The Stage Manager reports to the Symphony President or designee and works in
conjunction with the Music Director/Conductor and Board of Directors. The Vallejo
Symphony will perform three subscription concerts at the Empress Theatre in
downtown Vallejo. There are three rehearsals prior to each concert.

Emerging-professional chamber choir of 16 voices with outstanding Baroque instrument orchestra; well-attended concerts. Looking for sopranos, altos, countertenors, tenors, and baritones/basses. Solo opportunities for chorus members. Requirements include: experience with choral Baroque/classical singing, understanding of vocal technique, and ability to read music. Auditions ongoing. Rehearsals begin Sept. 16 and continue on Wednesday evenings in Mill Valley through performances, November 13, 14 and 15.
Brahms Symphony no. 3, plus Debussy's Nuages from Nocturnes, and more water related music. We are contributing musically to drought awareness, and Marin Municipal Water District will be telling stories about water conservation.
