Stanley Luu

I teach in my home studio in San Mateo. My students are quite competitive. I focus on preparing students for The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). A majority of those students pass with distinction. I also have students who are prizewinners in local and international competitions. My background includes successes in the Sturm Page Piano Competition and United States Open Music Competition. Parental supervision is required for lessons. Scheduling is flexible.

Yvonne Liu

Teacher Yvonne runs a private piano studio in Foster City, CA with two Fazioli grand pianos. Lessons are also available on Zoom.

Beginners start with Suzuki method, and all students are encouraged to participate in ABRSM assessments.

She is a board member of the United States Open Music Competition (www.USOMC.org)

Davide Verotta

I try to prepare well rounded musicians, not just players. I have experience in piano performance and composition and my aim is to develop both technique and musical understanding. I offer teaching in piano or composition, or both.
Please visit my Web site www.davideverotta.com for more information, teaching method, upcoming performances.

Tregar Otton

Tregar Otton, born in the Marshall Islands and raised in South Texas and California, began his studies on the violin at the age of four. At 15, he was the youngest member to join the Berkeley Symphony under Maestro Kent Nagano. While continuing to play classical music, Tregar specializes in performing and arranging music from Cuba and Spain. He was founder of, and is the director, arranger, composer and violinist of Orquesta la Moderna Tradicion, an Orquesta dedicated to performing various styles of Cuban dance music - Danzon, Cha Cha Cha, Guaracha, etc.

Jeanette Tietze

I teach at Holy Innocents Church, Corte Madera. My favorite pianists are Richter and Gillels. I loved living in Vienna, Austria, during my twenties, and attended perhaps thousands of concerts there.
Music is for everyone, as Kodaly said, and it is the job of the schools to teach music.

Moira Greyland

Although I have been a professional performer for most of my life and I am still actively concertizing, teaching is my grand passion, as is watching my students go on to one success after another. I specialize in restarting stalled careers for professional singers, in correcting physical issues both with singing and with harpists, and in making things much easier so you can get back to making music and not have to worry so much.
