Liturgical

The cantor sings the psalms and provides appropriately dignified leadership for the singing congregation. At St. Monica's, we do not use the "touchdown Jesus" arm motions to cue the congregation.

The St. Monica Choir sings quality repertoire ranging from Gregorian Chant to newly composed works. We emphasize Renaissance Polyphony. We sing in a good acoustic, in the context of an hospitable and supportive liturgy. We also have fun doing what we do. The successful candidate will have good choral chops, good reading skills and will be able to work well in an intimate choral setting. Audition will start immediately and continue until the position is filled.
