Level: Semi-professional
Qualifications: Semi-professional singers may have—or be working toward—a degree in music and may frequently or occasionally be compensated for performing or for other music-related activities
Repertoire: Unaccompanied chamber music for 4–8 part chorus by Victoria, Poulenc, Rheinberger, Howells, Britten, and Finzi
Special skills:
Ability to sing in tune with straight tone or a healthy vibrato from piano to forte
Good music literacy skills including G and F clefs, tonic solfège (also called "moveable" do)
Supportive and encouraging of fellow singers (mostly amateur)
Compensation: $35/call
Average calls per week: 1–2
Rehearsals: Monday evenings, September–May
Performances: 2 performances each of 4 concert sets in October, December, March, and May
