The inaugural concert date is Sunday, August 4, which is called "From the Heart," is meant for the singers to honor loved ones who are no longer with us.
The music will include a wide range of composers and genres, including Bruckner, Alice Parker, spirituals, gospel, jazz, Prince, and Stevie Wonder. These are all wonderful masterpieces (old and new) that are incredibly enjoyable to sing!
We'll also be performing the beautiful Tower Chapel (with wonderful acoustics - see attached photos) at the historic Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland. We're very fortunate to be performing in this space as it's almost never be used by a choir.
