Villancios and More With Schola CantorumThe Schola Cantorum San Francisco is one of the Bay Area's finest, professional singing groups. Their Christmas concert for the San Francisco Early Music Society is based on music from Spain's Golden Age and is certain to be one of the choral highlights of the holiday season. Paul Flight directs the group in music spanning the gamut from high church polyphony to folk songs (villancicos) on the Christmas theme.
Michael Zwiebach is the senior editor/content manager for SFCV. He assigns all articles and content, manages the writing staff, and does editing. A member of SFCV from the beginning, Michael holds a Ph.D. in music history from the University of California, Berkeley.
