The three Bs of the German Baroque – Bach, Biber, and Buxtehude, are back for more madcap adventures when Ignaz’s violin is found in Anna Magdalene’s bedroom! Johann Sebastian is furious …
OK, this is just a decorous early-music concert, but it features the marvelous soprano Laura Heimes, trumpeter-extraordinaire John Thiessen, and the crew from Voices of Music, faves of SFCV and famed already for their widely-viewed YouTube and Vimeo channels. They’ll be airing the “Air on the G-String”, the cantata Jauchzet Gott, and Biber’s Trumpet Sonata, among other Baroque hits. Reasons enough to go, even if you have to miss that Three Stooges festival on T.V.
